In the 2006 campaign, seven radio ads were on offer, each using vox-pops in which young people talked about their views and experiences of God. Some are amusing, some touching, all are genuine, and all invited the listener to engage in further debate online or at their local church. Each ad ends by pointing listeners to myspace.com/isthisjesus.

We were really pleased with the ads and believe they were very effective. The natural voices and stories of real young people drew listeners in and involved our target audience. There are no caricature voices or snazzy sound effects here – instead, the ads aim to start discussion and show that local churches are here for their non-members, for young as well as old, for those with doubts and questions, and not just for those with certainties.
